Job summary

Hornblower Group is seeking a bartender to join our crew aboard our scenic passenger vessel. Serve high-quality beverages, provide outstanding hospitality, and share knowledge about menus, cruise routes, and attractions.

Schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays; candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and complete vessel safety training. A High School Diploma and 1 year of bartending experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience required.
• Strong knowledge of beverage recipes and preparation.
• Excellent customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality beverages accurately and consistently.
• Provide fast, friendly service to guests and coworkers throughout each cruise.
• Set up, stock, maintain, and clean the bar and service areas.
• Take orders, process payments, and use the point-of-sale system accurately.
• Share beverage knowledge and provide information about menus, entertainment, cruise routes, and points of interest.
