Job summary

Brunswick's Freedom Boat Club in Florida is seeking a part-time Boatcierge to greet guests, anticipate needs, and guide members to local attractions. You will work in a marina setting and assist with reservations on handheld tablets, fuel logs, and weather reports, while maintaining professional appearance.

Daily availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays is required. The anticipated pay rate is $15 per hour, with Brunswick benefits including a 401(k) match and wellbeing program.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read and operate handheld tablets and communicate via phone.
• Available to work regularly weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Experience around boats is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Maintain a calm, positive attitude during high activity.
• Positive, cooperative attitude and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Make and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette.
• Navigate the reservation system via handheld tablet.
• Complete daily clerical work to prepare reservation system, fuel logs and weather reports.
• Familiarize yourself with local waters to provide basic guidance to members.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Support the team to reach common goals.
• Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
