Job summary

Brunswick, through Freedom Boat Club, is seeking friendly part-time dock staff to greet members, assist on the docks, and handle reservations and basic guidance on the water. You will work outdoors in a marina environment, across weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on customer service and safety.

The role requires reliable availability, strong communication, and familiarity with handheld tablets and reservation systems.

Qualifications

Pass a background check and drug screen.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to read and manipulate handheld tablets and communicate via phone.
Availability to work regular weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Make and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette.
Navigate the reservation system via handheld tablet.
Complete daily clerical work to prepare reservation system, fuel logs and weather reports.
Familiarize yourself with local waters to provide basic guidance to members.
Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Support the team to reach common goals.
Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Work outside in the state’s elements and stand for an extended period of time.
