Shaner Hotels is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all restaurant operations at Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club in Marathon, FL. You will lead service excellence, train staff, and manage budgets to ensure cost controls and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes quality customer service, staff development, and collaboration with the General Manager and department heads to maintain standards across the property.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years supervisory experience in Restaurant / Food & Beverage.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Strong communication with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe / food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS).
• Familiarity with food & beverage cost controls.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of the restaurant and dining service.
• Train staff; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance.
• Ensure budgets, cost controls, and financial targets.
• Maintain safety, quality, and beverage/service standards.
• Respond to guest issues and coordinate with management.
