Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a General Manager for the 83-room Courtyard Faro Blanco Resort Marathon in Florida. The role leads all hotel operations, drives guest satisfaction, and pairs strong financial management with a customer‑centric culture.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in hospitality, a track record of team development, and familiarity with property management systems. A bilingual English/Spanish background is a plus, with opportunities for growth across Shaner Hotels’

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality.
• Ability to clearly communicate with guests, management and co-workers.
• High school graduate or equivalent; college degree in hospitality management or business, CHA a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of budget preparation and cost controls.
• Working knowledge of all hotel departments.
• Knowledgeable of the property management system.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel operations and ensure adherence to corporate policies and franchise standards.
• Develop property sales and marketing efforts with the sales team.
• Recruit, motivate, and inspire the hotel team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Uphold core values of guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, accountability and profitability.
• Maintain high scores for customer service and inspections across Shaner properties.
