Job summary

Century Mechanical Holdings is seeking an experienced HR/HVAC Service Coordinator to support daily HVAC service operations and HR functions in Waterbury, CT. The role requires extensive QuickBooks Online and ServiceTitan knowledge, plus strong HR experience and familiarity with Connecticut employment laws.

Qualifications

• Extensive QuickBooks Online experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of ServiceTitan experience required.
• Previous hands-on HR experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Connecticut employment laws required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related service industry.

Responsibilities

• Handle employee write-ups, disciplinary actions, and corrective action documentation.
• Maintain employee personnel files, onboarding paperwork, and termination records.
• Prepare and file workers' compensation claims, insurance claims, and unemployment packets.
• Manage employee insurance enrollment, benefits changes, and insurance-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with Connecticut employment laws and HR policies.
• Assist management with employee relations, performance issues, and HR documentation.
• Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians, manage service calendars, and coordinate daily operations.
• Create, update, and close out work orders in Service Titan.
• Handle customer calls, scheduling, service updates, and customer concerns.
• Apply for and track permits, inspections, and warranty registrations.
• Manage maintenance agreements, renewals, and service appointments.
