Job summary

American Pump & Drilling is seeking an experienced Water Well Driller based in Idaho Falls, ID. The role entails drilling operations, rig maintenance, and moving equipment between sites while adhering to safety rules and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Class A CDL with air brakes, familiarity with common drilling methods, welding skills, and a willingness to follow company core values. Physical work and occasional overtime are expected in this fast-growing local business.

Qualifications

• Experience with drilling methods (air rotary, mud rotary, etc.).
• CDL Class A is required with air brakes.
• Welding and cutting skills preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely.
• Idaho and Wyoming Water Well Driller licenses a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform drilling operations.
• Assist with rig repair and maintenance.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Move equipment to and from drill sites.
• Assist with well development.

American Pump & Drilling is a fast-growing local business looking for an experienced Water Well Driller to join our team. APD has physical locations in Ucon, Idaho; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Afton, Wyoming, and specializes in delivering water. This position will be based out of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities include:

• Drilling operations
• Assist with Rig Repair and Maintenance.
• Load and unload trucks
• Move equipment to and from drill sites
• Assist with well development
• Can lift 50+ pounds safely throughout the day

Desired Skills:

• Exposed to air rotary, mud rotary, reverse circulation and flooded reverse rotary drilling methods
• Familiarity with casing advance systems a plus
• Proficient in welding and cutting
• General mechanic skills a plus
• Willing to adhere to strict safety rules and regulations
• Current Class A CDL (with airbrakes) required
  
• Idaho and Wyoming Water Well Driller License a plus
