Job summary

American Pump & Drilling in Idaho Falls is hiring a self-motivated team member to assist with drilling operations and water-well development. You will help load/unload trucks, move heavy equipment, and support rig repair and maintenance. Overtime and safety compliance are essential components of the role.

Candidates should have mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, and be open to cross-training. Class A CDL and MSHA certifications are a plus but not required initially.

Qualifications

• Experience in drilling operations is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and work hard are required.
• Exposure to air rotary, mud rotary, reverse circulation methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Primary Driller with drilling operations.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Lift 50+ pounds safely throughout the day.
• Move equipment to and from drill sites.
• Assist with water well development.
• Assist with rig repair and maintenance as needed.
• Cross-train into other job functions as needed.
