Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Utility Technician to perform installation, maintenance and repair of water distribution and wastewater systems, while addressing customer service issues in the field.

Under supervision, you will work with area teams, read meters, document work orders, and help maintain safe, efficient operations. High school diploma required; CDL within 90 days; no prior experience needed. Lifting up to 50 lbs, travel to sites, and varied weather are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• No previous experience required, though mechanical and/or electrical experience is a plus.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• CDL permit must be attained within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform installation, maintenance and repair of valves, meters, gauges, pumps, and related equipment in water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment in accordance with procedures.
• Load/unload equipment and supplies at worksites; move materials as needed.
• Read meters and document work activities; close work orders as required.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervision.
