Aqua America, Inc. is hiring a Utility Technician to support water distribution and wastewater systems across our footprint. Under supervision, you will maintain and repair valves, meters, pumps, and related equipment while operating vehicles and machinery at multiple sites.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and customer service skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. CDL must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform installation, maintenance and repair of valves, meters, gauges, pumps and related equipment used in water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance of vehicles and light construction equipment.
• Load and unload equipment and supplies at worksites and storage areas; assist with site tasks.
• Read meters as needed and update/close work orders in the system.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain custodial and housekeeping duties as assigned.
