Job summary

Kleinfelder seeks a Water/Wastewater Territory Manager to oversee facilities in the Midwest. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams on projects spanning industrial water, drinking water, and wastewater treatment, with focus on delivery from planning to closeout.

The role emphasizes expanding professional network, business development, and collaboration with water practices. A background in engineering or environmental science and a valid operator license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in environmental science, chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
• Valid Water and/or Wastewater Operator License required; Class 2 or higher Water preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance and environmental regulations.
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, technologies, equipment, operations, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, and multi-discipline engineering efforts.
• Supervise staff and subcontractors to deliver projects.
• Participate in technical/project scoping and proposal presentations with clients.
• Mentor the technical development of staff and strengthen the team.
• Identify new business opportunities for growth and profitability.
• Assist in evaluating prospective clients and opportunities, reinforcing sound business decisions.
