Job summary

Kleinfelder seeks a Water/Wastewater Territory Manager to oversee facilities in the Midwest, leading multi-disciplinary teams across industrial and municipal water projects including treatment, reuse, and permitting. You will expand professional networks and advance both technical and business development capabilities across a broad client portfolio.

The role emphasizes leadership, client engagement, and delivery excellence within a growing water practice across the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in environmental science, chemistry, engineering, or related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Water/wastewater operator license required; Class 2 or higher Water preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance and environmental regulations.
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, technologies, equipment, operations, and systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical efforts for planning, studies, budgeting, technical management, coordination of multi-discipline engineering efforts, quality assurance, subcontractor management and contract administration.
• Supervise staff and subcontractors to successfully deliver technical projects.
• Participate in technical/project scoping activities and proposal presentations with targeted clients.
• Mentor the technical development of staff and strengthen the team.
• Identify new business opportunities for high growth and profitability.
• Assist in the evaluation of prospective clients and opportunities, reinforcing sound business decision-making.
