Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking personnel to perform water and wastewater maintenance, inspections and service on military installations. The role involves reading meters, operating equipment, and responding to service orders with a focus on safety and customer service.

These positions require a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain CDL within a year. Training in OSHA and related safety programs is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must obtain state required water and/or wastewater training permits within 90 days, if applicable.
• Must possess and keep current a valid Driver’s License issued by the state where employed.
• Must be able to obtain applicable Commercial Driver’s Permit within six months and CDL within one year of hire date.
• Must take and pass Federal OSHA, US Army Corps of Engineers, and/or State mandated safety training; annual refreshers required.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, performs activities related to water and wastewater system maintenance, including water quality and water supply.
• Inspects, installs, repairs, replaces, tests and certifies water mains, water services, meters, hydrants, backflow devices and related assets.
• Inspects, repairs, replaces sewer lines and lift stations; operates video equipment to identify deficiencies.
• Responds to Service Orders; marks water and wastewater infrastructure and emergency generators.
• Develops skills to interpret technical documents, manuals, blueprints, maps and standards.
• Reads meters manually or with automated equipment; responds quickly to service requests.
