Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in water/wastewater industry or related position.
• Valid Driver’s License issued by the state.
• Capability to obtain commercial Driver’s License within 6 months.
• Must possess interim level water/wastewater operator certification.
• Must complete Federal OSHA and/or State Mandated Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities related to water and wastewater system maintenance.
• Inspect, install, repair, and replace water mains and services.
• Respond to service orders related to line locations.
• Operate heavy machinery for maintenance duties.
• Analyze pump equipment operation and troubleshoot malfunctions.
