Job summary

International Executive Service Corps seeks personnel for water and wastewater system construction on federal installations across the United States. The role involves excavating trenches, laying pipe, backfilling, and testing mains, with emphasis on safety and compliance with Federal and state rules.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 2 years of related experience. U.S. citizenship is required; training in OSHA safety will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) years of prior water and wastewater system construction experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Working knowledge of general hand tools and power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, performs activities related to water and wastewater system utility construction.
• Observes and complies with all Federal, State and Company safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Performs physical construction including excavating trenches, pipe laying, backfilling excavations, compacting soil.
• Performs all work in a safe, efficient manner, following standards of performance.
• Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions including trench safety and bracing.
• Loads, unloads, identifies and distributes utility materials to the appropriate location.
