Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking personnel to perform water and wastewater system maintenance on military installations in the United States. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and testing water and sewer infrastructure, reading meters, and responding to service orders with a focus on safety and customer service.

Position requires knowledge of water/wastewater operations, ability to work under supervision, and basic math and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety practices for general construction and handling of materials used in water/wastewater operations.
• General knowledge of water and wastewater system operations, control settings, and plant/lift station operations.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Strong customer service skills are essential; must communicate with customers professionally.
• Microsoft Office skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs water and wastewater system maintenance activities including water quality and supply.
• Inspects and maintains water mains, services, meters, hydrants, backflow devices and related assets.
• Inspects and maintains sewer lines, manholes, and wastewater assets; operates video equipment to identify issues.
• Monitors SCADA alarms and pump stations; conducts wet well inspections and checks pump/floats.
