Job summary

Alterman Management Group, Inc. is seeking an Level 1 Assistant Project Manager to support Electrical Project Managers on water and wastewater projects. This on-site role focuses on planning, document control, and coordination across preconstruction and field teams.

Responsibilities include risk review, RFIs, submittals, and closeout activities, with emphasis on safety, cost control, and schedule adherence. Strong communication and PM training are valued.

Qualifications

• Inside Wireman Apprenticeship Completion or equivalent, 2 years' experience in a field supervisory position; OR
• Associate degree in Business Management, Construction Management or Construction Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrical Project Managers with project planning and scheduling.
• Review plans and specifications; prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Maintain material files and develop a 3-week lookahead as needed.
• Assist with project closeout procedures and AHJ inspections.
• Attend project review meetings and prepare documentation.
