Job summary

Commercial Contracting Corporation is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, scheduling, and delivery of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant projects. You will assist with budgeting, estimates, document control, and subcontractor management, potentially across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates have WWTP experience, a bachelor’s in construction related field, and 3–5 years of PM experience. Travel may be required to support project locations and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of construction project management experience or relevant internships with a General Contractor or Construction Management firm.
• Experience with Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of project controls and management principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
• Maintain safety policies and project culture.
• Follow established project controls, purchasing, estimating, and procedures.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, field teams, subcontractors, and regulators to ensure success.
• Assist in managing budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Prepare change orders, pricing, negotiation, and documentation.
• Manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, drawings, punch lists, and closeout documents.
• Assist with buyout activities and subcontractor procurement.
• Support estimating budgeting and quantity reviews.
• Coordinate subcontractor and self-perform scopes with field supervision.
• Develop and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Plan logistics, scheduling, engineering coordination, and safety planning.
