Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead design and delivery of water and wastewater projects across the Midwest. You will manage scope, budget, schedule, and resources while serving as the main client contact and mentor for engineers on the team.

The role requires an active PE license, a civil engineering degree, and 5+ years of water/wastewater experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in relevant design software.

Qualifications

• Active PE licence required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in water/wastewater engineering.
• Experience in water treatment, distribution, wastewater treatment or collection systems.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience with water/wastewater design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater projects through design and delivery.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and resources.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Lead and support project teams.
• Oversee construction administration and project delivery.
• Prepare and review plans, specifications and technical documentation.
• Support client relationships and future project opportunities.
