Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead design and delivery across the Midwest. You will own projects, engage clients directly, mentor engineers, and contribute to team growth in a flexible work environment.

Qualified candidates will have a PE license, a Civil Engineering degree, and 5+ years of water/wastewater experience, with strong communication and leadership skills to manage projects end-to-end.

• Active PE license is required.
• 5+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.

A growing engineering consultancy is looking to add an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to their team as they continue to expand their presence across the Midwest.

This is an opportunity for an experienced water professional to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients, support the development of engineers and contribute to the continued growth of the wider team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead water and wastewater projects through design and delivery
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and resources
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
• Lead and support project teams
• Oversee construction administration and project delivery
• Prepare and review plans, specifications and technical documentation
• Support client relationships and future project opportunities

Qualifications required:

• Active PE licence
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience within water/wastewater engineering
• Experience across water treatment, water distribution, wastewater treatment or collection systems
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
• Experience with relevant water/wastewater design software
