Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. in Parsippany, NJ seeks a Water Resources Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.

You’ll manage scope, schedule and budget, coordinate the design team, and maintain client relationships with municipal and utility clients. The role requires a NJ PE license (or eligible), 8+ years in consulting, and experience with NJDEP permitting and funding programs.

Qualifications

• Manages full lifecycle water/wastewater projects from planning through construction.
• Experience with scope, schedule, and budget development and control.
• Leads design team producing drawings, specs, and basis of design reports.
• Regulatory coordination with NJDEP including permits and approvals.
• Develops and maintains client relationships with municipal/utility clients.
• Coordinates funding with NJ Infrastructure Bank, NJ Water Bank and SRF programs.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle project management on water and wastewater projects.
• Scope, schedule, and budget on each project; proposal development.
• Direction of the design team producing drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Regulatory coordination with NJDEP for permits and approvals.
• Maintain client relationships post-project closure.
• Funding coordination with state programs and banks.
• Mentorship of engineers and junior staff.
