Job summary

6 Degrees Search in Parsippany, New Jersey is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager (Water and Wastewater) to lead full lifecycle projects from planning through construction for municipal and utility clients. The role involves scope, schedule, budget, and directing the design team.

This position requires NJPE license or ability to obtain NJ licensure by comity, 8+ years of water/wastewater consulting experience, strong client relationships, and regulatory coordination with NJDEP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of water and wastewater experience in a consulting environment.
• New Jersey PE license, or ability to obtain NJ licensure by comity.
• Hands on design authorship: drawings, specs, basis of design reports and permits.
• Regulatory coordination with NJDEP and related agencies.
• Experience managing client relationships and writing fee proposals.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle project management on water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.
• Scope, schedule, fee and budget management on each project, including proposals.
• Direct the design team producing drawings, specs and basis of design reports.
• Regulatory coordination with NJDEP, including permits and WQM planning.
• Maintain client relationships both during and after project completion.
• Coordinate funding with state programs and agencies.
