Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager with strong water/wastewater infrastructure experience to lead projects and expand our Mid-Atlantic presence. You will evaluate systems, develop designs, run calculations, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

This hybrid role offers collaboration with clients and internal teams, mentoring junior staff, and opportunities in business development to position our water practice for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction of water distribution and wastewater facilities.
• Lead project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, owners, and vendors.
• Provide project leadership and mentoring to staff.
• Manage budgets, invoicing and estimates to complete.
• Prepare proposals and support client negotiations.
