Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager for its water/wastewater practice in San Antonio. This role leads client relationships, project execution, and financial performance, leveraging a strong PM and BD skill set in a dynamic, employee-owned environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a PE license with 15+ years of program/project management experience in water/wastewater, and will participate in a hybrid work model with relocation offered for the right applicant.

Qualifications

• PE license required or preferred.
• 15+ years program/project management experience.
• Technical experience in water and wastewater treatment.
• Business development and program/project management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead market and business development efforts, including client presentations and proposals.
• Oversee project management, client interactions, budgets, and contracting for opportunities.
• Ensure successful project execution with internal teams and client representatives; manage performance and reviews.
• Mentor staff, develop team capabilities, and identify potential candidates for growth.
