Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure efforts across Texas. You will guide the project leadership team, manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and ensure contractual and safety standards are met.

You will oversee staffing, risk management, and coordination of engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities. Hybrid options may be offered after 90 days, with ESOP ownership and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or required depending on project needs.
• 10+ years of program/project management experience in water/wastewater or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage small EPC/Service projects, controlling risk to cost, schedule and quality.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of engineering, procurement, and construction scope, including staffing and performance.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and third-party contributions to deliver project objectives.
• Provide project performance reviews, budgeting, invoicing, and client communications.
