Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager to lead the water solutions business in the local office, maintaining client relationships with municipalities and delivering successful projects. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

The role requires extensive PM experience, an engineering background, and a strong focus on client engagement, project delivery, and financial performance. Hybrid or flexible work arrangements may be offered after an initial period.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 15+ years of program/project management experience and technical background.
• Technical experience in water and wastewater treatment and linear infrastructure planning/design.
• Business development and program/project management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing efforts and strategy development for new opportunities.
• Manage projects to meet client objectives and financial targets.
• Oversee project execution, budgeting, invoicing and performance reviews.
• Develop and mentor staff; recruit and develop new professionals to grow the team.
