Langan seeks a Project Engineer/Manager - Water and Wastewater to support its growing national water practice. This role will drive strategy initiatives across the United States, including due diligence, source water assessments, and permitting for mission-critical clients.

The position requires 6+ years in environmental engineering with 2+ years in project management within a consulting environment. A PE or CHMM is preferred and collaboration across multiple offices is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in environmental, chemical or civil engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in a related discipline.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in environmental field with 2+ years in project management in consulting.
• Professional certification (PE/CHMM) is a plus.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and regulatory knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Support water due diligence for data center developments and regulatory analyses.
• Develop water sourcing strategies using municipal, groundwater, surface, and reclaimed water.
• Advance wastewater discharge strategies including NPDES and water reuse.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on water/wastewater infrastructure planning.
• Provide regulatory guidance on water treatment and reuse applications.
• Collaborate with utilities and regulators to navigate permitting challenges.
• Support water strategy development through project lifecycle from site selection to operations.
• Provide regulatory oversight for Safe Drinking Water Act programs.
