HMB Professional Engineers, LLC in Knoxville, TN, seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, a PE license, and 10+ years in public infrastructure, with strong project management and coordination skills across engineers, contractors, and regulators.

Competenze

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering is required or preferred
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required
• 10+ years of experience in public water/wastewater infrastructure projects
• Project or client management experience required
• Experience designing water treatment plants is a plus

Mansioni

• Manage planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Coordinate engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulators for project execution
• Track timelines, budgets, and scopes to meet client goals and regulations
• Review technical designs for quality, constructability, and code compliance
• Lead feasibility studies and infrastructure planning for growth and development
• Select treatment technologies with technical experts
• Develop contracts, procurement, and administration processes
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders on project updates and expectations
• Ensure permitting, approvals, and regulatory compliance
• Prepare reports, cost estimates, risk assessments, and documentation
• Conduct cost-benefit and lifecycle analyses for investments
• Collaborate with business development on proposals and RFP responses
