Job summary

HMB Professional Engineers, LLC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager in Nashville, TN. The role leads planning, design, and delivery of water infrastructure projects, coordinating engineers, consultants, and regulators to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• 10+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects related to Water Resources.
• Project and/or client management experience required.
• Ability to guide junior staff and participate in design and detailing of complex projects.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects (pipelines, pumping stations, storage facilities, treatment plants).
• Coordinate engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulators to ensure project success.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and scope to align with client goals and regulations.
• Review technical designs for quality, constructability, and code compliance.
• Lead feasibility studies and infrastructure planning for future needs.
• Develop contracts, procurement processes, and administration activities.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
