Job summary

HMB Professional Engineers, LLC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our Indianapolis team. You will lead planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects while coordinating across engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

The role requires 10+ years in public infrastructure and a PE license, with experience in project and client management. A hybrid schedule and opportunities in several regional offices are available.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering required or preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• 10+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects related to Water Resources.
• Experience designing water treatment plants is a plus.
• Project and/or client management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects; pipelines, pumping stations, storage facilities, and treatment plants.
• Oversee project teams and coordinate engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and scopes to align with client goals and regulations.
• Review designs to ensure quality, constructability, and code compliance.
• Lead feasibility studies and infrastructure planning based on population growth.
