Job summary

HMB Professional Engineers, LLC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join the Murfreesboro team. The role leads planning, design, and delivery of critical water infrastructure projects, coordinating engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulators to ensure compliant, on-time execution.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS or MS in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required or actively licensure pursued.
• Ten or more years leading public water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management and team leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, design, and delivery of water/wastewater projects (pipelines, plants, tanks).
• Lead project teams and coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulators.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, scopes to align with client goals and regulations.
• Review designs for quality, constructability, and code compliance.
• Lead feasibility studies and infrastructure planning for growth.
• Select treatment technologies with technical experts.
• Develop contracts, procurement processes, and admin tasks.
• Provide client updates and manage expectations throughout the project.
