Job summary

Kraus-Anderson is seeking a Project Executive to lead water and wastewater projects in the Minneapolis area. The role oversees multiple project teams, drives schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction from preconstruction through completion.

The candidate should have extensive PM experience in this sector, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to mentor staff and support business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years related work experience.
• Proven experience in project management or executive roles overseeing multiple water/wastewater projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with excellent customer service.
• Ability to maintain a strong work ethic and uphold company values.
• Provides guidance and feedback to team members and supports development plans.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of multiple project teams from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules with project teams to meet milestones.
• Monitor progress to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
• Prepare project reports for executives, DOOs and clients; adjust plans as needed.
• Mentor and develop project managers and senior PMs to support growth.
