Job summary

You will design distribution and collection systems, perform hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, prepare technical specifications, and coordinate environmental permitting.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive water/wastewater engineering experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, technical specs, and construction documents for water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment facilities
• Perform hydraulic/hydrologic modeling to evaluate system performance and capacity
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including environmental permitting
• Support municipalities and utilities with NJDEP compliance initiatives
• Provide engineering services during construction including RFIs and site visits
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions
• Prepare proposals and scopes of work with design fee estimates
