Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Staff Engineer to contribute to water and wastewater projects from our Philadelphia office. The role focuses on wastewater treatment and conveyance design, regulatory permitting, and project coordination with multiple clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree with 4+ years of experience in engineering, and a PA PE is a plus. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (Civil or Environmental preferred).
• 4+ years of professional engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities required.
• PE in PA is a plus and beneficial for design/regulatory work.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria for water/wastewater facilities including treatment and conveyance.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and specifications in collaboration with regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with clients and team members across offices to ensure project success.
• Support field data collection and occasional site visits; provide construction administration as needed.
• Assist in regulatory permitting activities and project coordination.
