Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead water and wastewater projects from our Philadelphia, PA office. This full-time role focuses on wastewater treatment and conveyance, with opportunities to work with private developers, municipalities and state agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The candidate will oversee design criteria, prepare plans and reports, manage budgets, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with regulators and clients across PA and NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (Civil or Environmental).
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience, wastewater preferred.
• PA PE license or eligible to obtain within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team on multiple projects to complete design, bidding, contract administration and construction support.
• Coordinate with PA/NJ clients to develop design criteria for water/wastewater facilities.
• Design plans, technical reports, cost estimates and specifications, coordinating with regulators for permitting.
• Manage project scope, schedule and budget while mentoring staff.
• Provide field data collection and construction administration as needed.
