Job summary

Langan International, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager - Water and Wastewater to support its national water practice. You will lead water strategy initiatives for diverse clients, from due diligence to permitting and compliance across the United States.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related engineering field, 6+ years in environmental work with at least 2 years in consulting project management, and professional certification or on track to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Master's degree preferred; advanced degree enhances candidacy.
• 6+ years in environmental field with at least 2 years in consulting project management.
• Professional certification such as PE or CHMM; on track to obtain is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support water due diligence for data center developments including source water assessments and regulatory constraints analyses.
• Develop and implement water sourcing strategies using municipal, groundwater, surface, and reclaimed water resources.
• Evaluate wastewater discharge strategies including NPDES permitting and water reuse approaches.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on water and wastewater infrastructure planning and utility interfaces.
• Provide regulatory guidance on water treatment, wastewater treatment, and water reuse applications.
• Collaborate with utilities, municipalities, regulators and clients to navigate permitting challenges.
• Support water strategy development across the project lifecycle from site selection to startup and operations.
• Provide regulatory oversight for Safe Drinking Water Act compliance programs.
