The role involves design work, project management, and construction administration for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, a Texas PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and proficiency with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in water, wastewater, and/or floodplain/stormwater projects.
• Texas PE license required or obtainable within 6 months.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software is a plus.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data for analyses from phone, mail, and sources.
• Performs calculations and designs using engineering formulas and scenarios.
• Assists in preparation of reports, and maintains project files and document control.
• Conducts field tests, collects data, and ensures data integrity.
• Prepares reports and graphs based on research and analysis.
• Assists with design drawings, specs, quantities, and cost estimation.
• Supports funding research and maintains funding data for future reference.
