Job summary

Core & Main is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to support large water, wastewater, and critical infrastructure projects. You will build relationships with municipalities, engineers and contractors, and manage projects from pre-bid design through delivery.

The role requires significant field activity, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to manage complex scopes across multiple phases while providing consultative product sourcing and planning support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of outside sales experience in waterworks, civil, mechanical, or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Manage project workloads for treatment plant and critical infrastructure projects.
• Present customer-provided material lists and complete bill-of-material packages.
• Coordinate multistage shipments to align with construction schedules.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and execution throughout each project lifecycle.
• Support customers with product recommendations and technical clarifications.
