Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to support large-scale water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects.

You will build relationships with municipalities, engineers and contractors, manage scope from pre-bid design through delivery, and travel to site visits as required. The role emphasizes technical aptitude, field engagement, and solution-oriented guidance across PVF, HDPE, and plant components.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in waterworks, civil, mechanical, or distribution.
• Experience supporting large infrastructure projects (water/wastewater treatment) is preferred.
• Engineering background (civil) is a plus; ability to read plans, specs, and material lists.

Responsibilities

• Manage project workloads for treatment plant and infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical guidance and product recommendations for water, wastewater, and plant components.
• Collaborate with internal teams on quotations and proposals to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop relationships with municipalities, engineers, contractors, and developers.
• Attend industry events to expand market presence and pipeline.
