City of Charlotte's Charlotte Water Department seeks a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, repair and troubleshoot equipment at water and wastewater facilities. You will perform tests, read specifications, and maintain records while ensuring safety procedures.

The role pays $25.00 per hour and offers a commensurate range based on experience. You must have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of related maintenance work; an equivalent combination may qualify.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required (or equivalent).
• Three (3) years of related maintenance and mechanical work experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may qualify.

Mansioni

• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment at water and wastewater facilities.
• Inspect plant, pump stations, and tanks.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance; troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment.
