City of Maryville is seeking a dedicated Utility Plant Mechanic to repair and maintain pump motors, valves and equipment across water filtration and wastewater facilities. The role includes four 10-hour shifts per week and rotating on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components of water treatment equipment.
• Ability to follow safety precautions and work under potentially adverse conditions.
• Ability to perform arithmetic computations and report results clearly.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintain pumps, valves and related plant machinery.
• Inspect and service pump stations and equipment.
• Lubricate, change oil and perform preventive maintenance.
• Design and fabricate simple parts for equipment as needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot SCADA-related components and electrical systems.
• Assist and participate in on-call standby duties.
