Job summary

Kokosing seeks a Civil Project Manager in Staunton, VA to plan, direct, and coordinate activities on wastewater, water reclamation, and large utility projects. You will ensure goals are met within schedule and budget, supervising teams and coordinating with subs and owners.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 3–5 years of field experience, strong CPM scheduling (Primavera), cost control, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a four-year college
• 3-5 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand plans and specifications.
• Follow administrative procedures per Project Administration Manual.
• Supervise and coordinate submittal process and working drawings requirements.
• Prepare, modify, and review reports, specifications, and designs for the project.
• Provide contract interpretation and clarification.
• Maintain and update project schedules with monthly updates and two-week look-ahead reviews.
• Control costs and production budgets; monitor income quantities for work performed.
• Coordinate, price, and assist in settlement of change orders and claims.
• Ensure safety and maintain organized project correspondence files.
