Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer for the NTX/OK/AR team to design and oversee pump stations, pipelines, drinking water, and wastewater projects. You will lead technical work, coordinate staff, and ensure QA/QC throughout project delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree (PE preferred) and have 5+ years of relevant design experience. Role supports multiple locations, including Tyler, TX, with a focus on infrastructure resilience and public health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• MS preferred for advanced design work.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or licensed in the location.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex assignments and modify standard engineering techniques.
• Decision-making on design and engineering procedures.
• Manage client relationships on projects.
• Serve as technical lead or project manager on mid-size projects.
