Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our NTX team in Dallas. You will plan and direct complex design projects for water and wastewater systems, delivering timely documents while coordinating with staff and clients.

Ideal candidates have a PE license and 5+ years of design experience, with a strong emphasis on QA/QC and regulatory compliance in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• PE license recognized by licensing board (PE/P.Eng).
• 5+ years designing water/wastewater projects.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor engineering design projects with a high degree of technical complexity.
• Lead client relationships and coordinate staffing across projects.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures and training execution.
• Participate in code compliance reviews with governing agencies.
• Complete project documents and ensure on-schedule delivery.
