Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our NTX/OK/AR team. The primary duties include planning, directing and monitoring technical aspects of pump stations, pipelines, drinking water and wastewater projects.

We count on you to lead complex design tasks, manage client relationships, and contribute to QA/QC, ensuring code compliance and timely delivery across Dallas, Fort Worth and surrounding Texas locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• PE license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
• 5+ years of experience designing water and wastewater projects.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor technical aspects of water/wastewater design projects.
• Lead complex design tasks and QA/QC procedures.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate staffing across projects.
• Serve as project manager on mid-size projects as needed.
• Ensure code compliance through reviews with governing agencies.
