HDR Engineering is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our NTX/OK/AR team, with focus on Fort Worth and surrounding areas. You will plan and oversee pump stations, pipelines, drinking water, and wastewater projects, guiding technical work and ensuring quality.
Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree (BS with PE) and have at least five years in water/wastewater design, plus the ability to lead teams and manage clients in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

HDR Engineering is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our growing NTX/OK/AR team.
The primary duties of the Water/Wastewater Engineer include but are not limited to planning, directing and monitoring technical aspects of pump station, pipeline, drinking water, and wastewater design projects which contain a high degree of technical complexity.
In the role of Water/Wastewater Engineer, we'll count on you to:
Take responsibility for performing complex assignments, exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed
Involved with client relationships
Function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed
May be involved with coordinating staffing and workload of staff through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule
May supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed
Responsible for implementing QA/QC procedures and for the execution of training for personnel as established
Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
