Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our NTX/OK/AR team, with focus on Fort Worth and surrounding areas. You will plan and oversee pump stations, pipelines, drinking water, and wastewater projects, guiding technical work and ensuring quality.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree (BS with PE) and have at least five years in water/wastewater design, plus the ability to lead teams and manage clients in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• MS in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the licensing board for the position location.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in water and wastewater design.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor technical aspects of pump stations, pipelines, drinking water, and wastewater design projects with high technical complexity.
• Perform complex assignments and exercise judgement on design techniques and procedures.
• Maintain client relationships and act as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects.
