Job summary

Trinity Consultants in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Engineer In Training to join the Water/Wastewater team. This role offers exposure to water distribution, storage, wastewater collection systems, pumps, lift stations, and design projects, with mentorship from experienced engineers.

You will help develop proposals, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and gain hands-on experience in infrastructure design, with a pathway to licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related engineering discipline.
• Must be registered, or able to register, as an Engineer In Training (EIT).
• Previous engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in water distribution, storage, and supply design preferred.
• Experience in wastewater collection and pump station design preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD software preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing water and wastewater systems and components.
• Develop written proposals and assist with technical writing.
• Coordinate communication between Trinity, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Learn to build relationships with clients and vendors.
