Job summary

HDR Engineering seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our NTX/OK/AR team. You will plan, direct and monitor technical aspects of pump stations, pipelines, drinking water and wastewater design projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 5+ years of water/wastewater design experience; an MS is preferred. We value self-motivation, independent work, and active participation in our employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the licensing board.
• 5+ years designing water and wastewater projects.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor technical aspects of pump stations, pipelines, drinking water and wastewater design projects.
• Take responsibility for complex assignments and modify standard techniques as needed.
• Engage with clients and supervise staff on projects as required.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through project development to completion.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures and training are executed.
