Job summary

GPI, a multi-discipline engineering firm, seeks a Civil Engineer - Water/Wastewater in Erie, PA. The role requires a PE license in PA and 5+ years of water/wastewater experience, with responsibilities spanning design calculations, project plans, client interaction, and project budgeting.

You will collaborate across disciplines, review plans for compliance, and contribute to business development while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• PA PE license required.
• Minimum 5 years water/wastewater experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• English language literacy and ability to read plans.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare calculations and specifications for water, wastewater, stormwater, and municipal projects.
• Prepare project plans for process water/wastewater and utility plans for approval and construction.
• Review civil plans for compliance with codes and regulations.
• Monitor budgets and schedules; prepare technical documents and reports.
• Engage with clients on ongoing and future public works projects; support business development.
